Part I

The First Law

Why every human system is continuously adapting to its environment.

A Reciprocal Relationship

People do not exist outside their environment. They are shaped by it.

Environments are not static either. They evolve in response to the people they produce. Most models begin with people, or with performance. The Forge Model begins with the relationship between the two, because the relationship is what actually moves.

Why Forge Exists to Intervene

The relationship between people and environment is reciprocal.

Forge exists to intentionally influence that cycle. Not to manage people, and not to chase performance directly, but to change the conditions the cycle runs on.
